‘Wowowin’ choreographer looking for new dancers; AMBS now open to ‘aspiring talents’

The transfer of “Wowowin” to the TV network owned by the family of the former Sen. Manny Villar – the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS).

AMBS bought and acquired the Channel 2 franchise that was denied by the congress to ABS-CBN which led to the closure of the Kapamilya network.

It is reported that “Wowowin” host Willie Revillame is one of the top executives of the station that will be run by the Villar family.

Earlier, GMA 7 announced that Willie’s camp has terminated the contract of “Wowowin” with the station and has not renewed the new contract. He said the TV host had a good conversation with the bosses of the Kapuso network.

Last Sunday, Feb. 6, “Wowowin” choreographer Anna Feliciano issued a call on social media that they are hiring new dancers for a new show on another network.

Through her Facebook page, Anna announced about this, “Parang kahapon lang ay nag-sscreen pa ako ng dancers para sa pilot episode ng Wowowin sa GMA7.”

“Kaybilis ng panahon, after almost 7 years, maghahanap na naman ako ng dancers. This time, for a different show/network,” veteran dancer and choreographer added.

In another post, Anna pleaded with the viewers of “Wowowin,” “Sana ay samahan nyo pa rin kami sa aming magiging bagong tahanan.”

Aside from finding new dancers, the choreographer of “Wowowin” also reposted an advertisement “for aspiring on-cam and off-cam talents” interested in applying to the Advanced Media Broadcasting System.

GMA’s official statement about Willie’s farewell can also be seen on his Facebook account with the caption, “When something ends, something starts. Sana hindi niyo kami iwan. ”

It includes photos of Willie with Manny Villar and his daughter Las Piñas Congresswoman Camille Villar.
