MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said three lucky winners of Lotto 6/42 bagged the more than PHP 43 million jackpot prize.
Drawn on Tuesday, May 31, the winning combination are 25-20-29-07-21-02 in any order.
The winning tickets were bought in: (1) San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, (2) in Silang, Cavite, and in (3) Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Moreover, the total jackpot amount is PHP 43,912,343.80, which will be divided among the three lucky winners.
With their winning tickets and two identification cards, the winners can claim their prize money at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, according to PCSO.
However, if the winners do not claim their prizes within one year of the draw date, they will be forfeited in accordance with R.A. 1169. Furthermore, the selling agent will receive a reward commission of 1% of the jackpot amount up to PHP1 million.
According to TRAIN law, lotto prizes exceeding PHP10,000 are subject to a final tax of 20%. The jackpot will be reduced by 20% once the winner has claimed it.
Meanwhile, 80 others received ₱24,000.00 each for correctly guessing five of the six-digit winning combination; 2,848 bettors received ₱800.00 each for four of the six digits; and 37,932 bettors got ₱20.00 each for three of the six digits.
