Study in Thailand: Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Scholarship

The Commission on Higher Education is happy to inform interested parties of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Scholarship, which was established by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in partnership with Mahidol University’s Faculty of Tropical Medicine in Thailand. Through a one-year Master’s Degree, the scholarship intends to give chances for teachers or officials from participating nations to strengthen their capacities and leadership skills in school health development.

Her Royal Highness Pri Mata Chakri Sirindhorn established the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Scholarship in collaboration with Mahidol University’s Faculty of Tropical Medicine to provide opportunities for teachers or officials from participating schools to develop their capacities and leadership skills in health development in schools through a one-year Master’s Degree.

The scholarship will pay for tuition, round-trip flights, visa fees, housing, a monthly living stipend, educational materials, topic paper expenditures, and health insurance. For more information and instructions, please see the announcement and application form attached. On or before May 17, 2022, all applications must be submitted through the Royal Thai Embassy. The accepted applicants for the scholarship will be announced on June 30, 2022.

Criteria of Eligibility

  • Teachers and officials who have been involved in HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Children and Youth Development Project, which has been implemented in participating schools in each country.

  • Interested and eligible regular in-service candidates are invited to apply by submitting the following documents:
    1. Application for Admission of international students (FORM A)
    2. Background and Proposed Field of Study (FORM B)
    3. Recommendation Form (FORM C)
    4. Two copies of Degree Certificate
    5. Two copies of Academic Transcript
    6. Two copies of Passport
    7. Two recent photo (4.5cm x 3.5cm)
    8. Two copies of certificate of English Proficiency test (TOEFL or IELTS)*
    9. Two copies of Curriculum Vitae
    10. LTT Review Checklist (Form 9/D) (For Dzongkhag HRO)
    11. Nomination Form
      • While certificates of TOEFL and IELTS are desired, interest candidates may submit English Language Proficiency Certificate in the event the candidates are not able to furnish the aforementioned certificates
