The diligence and determination shown by a student, Michael Español from the town of Gueguesangen, Mangaldan in Pangasinan, is impressive.
Many were amazed at the story of Michael’s life because while he was studying he was still able to work as a construction worker to provide for his school needs.
And because of Michael’s diligence and perseverance in life he finished school as a valedictorian at their school with an average of 95 percent.
Michael also became the supreme student government president at their school.
Because Michael’s family was scarce he learned to approach money by sidelining as a construction worker.
Michael is all around in his work so he is already experienced as a lifter, a plowman and a paver of cement.
According to Michael, he was able to save up to buy his school supplies and food with his income of P250 per day of his work.
His mother only sews for a factory worker and his father is a messenger, so sometimes his parents don’t get paid enough for their three siblings to study.
According to Michael’s father, he is very grateful because even though they had a hard life, their son was able to finish as valedictorian.
However, despite Michael’s inspiring story he still allegedly hears something bad from other people.
Michael just proved that the hardships of life are not an obstacle to succeed in school and gradually reach the dreams of life.
