In a recent development surrounding the leaked video of a woman inside the condo unit of basketball player Ricci Rivero, suspicions arise as to who might be responsible for its release. According to a source close to Ricci, “Sinasabi ng mga taong hindi nagsasalita si Andrea tungkol sa isyu, pero siya ang kumuha ng video ng girl na pinagselosan niya. Kaya sino ngayon ang nag-leak sa social media ng video at mga screenshot ng babae na nakatapis lang ng tuwalya? Paano yon lumabas?”
Ricci Rivero himself pointed fingers at his ex-girlfriend, Andrea Brillantes, as the person behind the video of the woman scantily clad in his condo unit. During his interview on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” last Monday, June 26, 2023, when asked who took the video that went viral on social media, Ricci answered, “her.”
The said video became the basis for sympathizers of Andrea to accuse Ricci of infidelity, ultimately leading to their breakup. Ricci clarified the cause of their split during the interview, stating, “Ang cause ng breakup, yung speculations na kumakalat sa social media na may nakita siyang girl dun sa place ko.
“Pero ilang beses po naman naming pinag-usapan ito. Sobrang daming beses.”
“Sinabi ko sa kanya, with all the evidences I have, na hindi sa akin yung girl.”
“May papuntang friend akong midnight, tapos hindi ko naman alam na may kasama siya. Yun ang inabutan niya [Andrea],”
However, according to a source close to Ricci, the actor-basketball player’s story on “Fast Talk” isn’t the whole truth. The source reached out to Cabinet Files to reveal what they know about the leaked video on social media, which is being used against Ricci.
The source claimed that Ricci couldn’t have brought a woman to his place because Andrea had access to his condo unit anytime. The source stated, “Tulog si Ricci and his friends when Andrea arrived sa condo unit niya. Nasa iisang room lamang sila.
“Bakit magdadala si Ricci ng babae sa bahay niya when he knows that Andrea has access to his place anytime?
“Hindi nabanggit ni Ricci sa interview sa kanya ni Boy na hindi lamang siya ang tao sa condo unit niya. Naroroon din ang guy na kasama ng girl na pinagselosan ni Andrea, at nandoon din ang isa pang guy nang dumating siya [Andrea].”
Allegedly, when Andrea arrived, she had her cellphone camera ready. She recorded the woman who emerged from the bathroom wearing only a towel after Andrea tried to forcefully open the door while the woman was taking a shower.
“Sinasabi ng mga taong hindi nagsasalita si Andrea tungkol sa isyu, pero siya ang kumuha ng video ng girl na pinagselosan niya. Kaya sino ngayon ang nag-leak sa social media ng video at mga screenshot ng babae na nakatapis lang ng tuwalya? Paano yon lumabas?” the source further wondered.
The leaked video and screenshots do not reveal the woman’s face, who hasn’t come forward or spoken up to defend herself against the accusations.
Considering the circumstances, the woman who covered her face while being filmed by Andrea has every right to complain about being captured in a compromising situation.
Meanwhile, a close friend of Andrea told Cabinet Files that the young actress has acknowledged her mistake. The friend also believes that the woman Andrea got jealous of is not someone Ricci would be interested in or pursue. However, overwhelming jealousy took over her.
As of now, Andrea has not made any statements regarding Ricci’s revelations during his interview on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.”
