A lone bettor from Makati City won the P49.5-million jackpot in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 grand lotto’s Sunday 9PM draw.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced that the winning combination was 22-02-14-30-10-35 and that the bettor will bags P49,500,000 in total of pot money.
With the winning ticket and two identification cards, the bettor can claim the check at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, according to PCSO.
Prizes not claimed by the winners within 1 year from the date of the draw shall be forfeited in accordance to R.A. 1169.
Meanwhile, 23 others received P120,000 each for correctly guessing five of the six-digit winning combination; 1,115 bettors received P2,000 each for four of the six digits; and 18,583 bettors got P100 each for three of the six digits.
Lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 are subject to a 20% final tax, according to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law.
PCSO General Manager Royina Garma has repeatedly urged the public to continue supporting their games because a large portion of the revenue is donated to charitable organizations.
Furthermore, the PCSO is the primary government agency in charge of raising and distributing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charitable organizations.
