Criteria of Eligibility

  • Every woman who is applying to the University for the first time as a freshman is eligible.
  • If you want to submit your Simmons test scores, you should have an ACT score of 28 or higher, and a SAT score of 1300 or higher.
  • You must provide TOEFL and SAT or ACT results if you are from a country where English is not the native language.
  • A GPA of 3.3 or higher is required.
  • A college preparatory program is required, which includes an advanced level math course.
  • Honors, international baccalaureate (IB), and advanced placement courses must all be completed.

Process of the Application

  • All candidates are encouraged to apply online.
  • You must respond to the brief questions in no more than 250 words. You must prepare a formal essay of no more than 500 words in pdf or word format on the provided topic.
  • In pdf or word format, a resume detailing overall activities and involvements is required.
  • Essays and resumes should be sent via email with the subject line “Kotzen Application” in the subject line. The student’s entire name and date of birth should appear on each page of the documentation.
