For the academic year 2022/2023, Orebro University and the School of Science and Technology are offering PhD positions in Computer Science with a focus on merging Machine Learning and Machine Reasoning, culminating in a doctoral degree. Criteria of Eligibility

  • Eligible Courses or Subjects: The university offers a PhD degree in Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Neural Networks, Big Data, and Computational Sciences.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:
  • Applicants must have a Master of Science in Engineering or a one-year Master’s degree from a program within the subject field or related subjects, or a passing grade of at least 120 credits in the main field of study relevant to the computer science field, including an independent project on the second cycle.

Benefits Offered

  • For high-potential applicants, the institution will pay an initial stipend of SEK 29 100 per month for a PhD studentship.
