In the ongoing search for justice in the deaths of siblings Crizzlle Gwynn and Crizvlle Louis Maguad, their close friends decided to conduct a donation drive to help with the family’s expenses.
According to the group of friends, they do this so that the parents of the siblings do not feel that they are not alone in the battle they face.
They also promise that the process will be long, tedious, and expensive.
According to Kenneth Cadagat, one of the Maguad siblings ‘close friends, some of the family’s alleged expenses are lawyers, psychotherapy, and transportation because Cruz and Lovella Maguad, the siblings’ parents, travel almost every day for the siblings needs to be taken care of.
Cadagat also said that Cruz and Lovella are hesitant about the donation drive because they are ashamed.
“We never asked for how much they really needed. Kasi si tito and tita is hesitant nung una about this donation drive nahihiya kasi sila. But we know na they really needed a fund kasi si tita hindi na maka work nang maayos as principal because she had to follow up the cases,” Cadagat said in an interview
In this regard, the double murder case filed against two minor suspects in the brutal murder of two siblings on December 10, 2021 inside their house has been officially filed with the Regional Trial Court in Kidapawan City.
In an interview with “Newsline Philippines” with the Maguad family, two resolutions issued by the North Cotabato Prosecutor’s Office against two minor suspects, “Janice” who is 16 years old and “Carl,” 17-years-old, have gone up. They also allegedly did not have the courage to read the Extrajudicial Confession submitted by the accused through their private counsel.
The two suspects are in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
