Former senator and presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos has tested negative for drugs.
After being tested in a Metro Manila hospital on Monday, Marcos revealed this to The Manila Times on Tuesday.
Marcos said he gave the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency a copy of the findings (PDEA).
He claimed he took the drug test after President Rodrigo Duterte admitted to using cocaine.
"Pagkatapos ng salita ni Pangulo. Eh di lahat tayo magpa-drug test. Eh di inunahan ko na (After the President spoke, I decided to be the first so all of us should undergo a drug test)," he said.
